The challenge: Strategic planning controlled by Excel spreadsheets
Strategic planning has always been part of the AND management philosophy. However, according to Mariana Stangherlin Rigo, the company’s administrative manager, the control was carried out with a lot of bureaucracy. “We controlled the PE in Excel. We had a lot of bureaucracy involving the control of the upgrade versions. Many users had different versions of Excel and were eventually disconfiguring or even corrupting the spreadsheets“.
In addition, the new version of ISO required a greater mooring of the quality Management system (QMS) with the EP, and also a clear risk management and analysis. This brought more complexity because all this integration was done by manual spreadsheets that were available to few users.
